Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Picture a shift where you start by reviewing digital work orders, prioritize preventive checks, and then dive into real-time troubleshooting that keeps production moving. One moment you’re inspecting a conveyor and logging readings, the next you’re diagnosing an electrical fault on a motor drive or refining a PM route with teammates. If you thrive on variety, problem-solving, and doing it all safely, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
- Carry out routine maintenance and corrective repairs on facility equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to root cause and resolve them promptly.
- Perform scheduled inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Document all work performed, parts used, and findings in maintenance records.
- Respond rapidly to maintenance calls and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Partner with peers and leadership to enhance processes and drive efficiency improvements.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and applicable regulations at all times.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What you’ll bring
- At least six (6) months of maintenance experience, clearly documented in your application or resume.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and able to present valid identification.
- Comfort using basic hand tools and reading/understanding work assignments.
- Foundational knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs; climb stairs up to 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet; stand for extended periods; and work in hot, cold, and inclement weather.
- Rehire eligibility: this facility accepts rehires only after 180 days and for individuals who have worked here fewer than three times.
