Area Director

Thompson Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Area Director to oversee multiple restaurant locations within our growing hospitality group. This leadership role requires a results-driven professional with strong operational expertise, a passion for people development, and the ability to travel to several units.

• Have multi-unit restaurant leadership experience.

• Be able to travel regularly between locations.

• Reside in the DMV area within 30 minutes of our corporate office .

• Excel at building strong teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and achieving financial goals.

• BS degree preferred
• 3 years of Area Director management experience required
• Proven ability to control costs and raise sales
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong ability to build relationships and trust
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours).
• Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats).
• Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
• Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
• Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
