Position Summary:
The Waiter/Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. This role includes maintaining cleanliness, coordinating with kitchen staff, and handling guest requests professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service

• Greet guests warmly and present menus.
• Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and ingredients.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Address any concerns or complaints in a polite and efficient manner.

Restaurant Operations

• Set up dining tables, including linens, cutlery, glasses, and condiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Assist other team members when needed to ensure smooth service.
• Prepare bills, process payments, and provide receipts.

Coordination & Communication

• Communicate special requests or allergies to the kitchen staff.
• Ensure all orders are delivered to the correct tables.
• Work closely with hosts, kitchen staff, and management to maintain quality service.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a waiter/server preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (trays, dishes, etc.).
