Sam’s Pizza - Front Counter Clerk
Are you energetic, friendly, and love great pizza? Sam’s Pizza in Spotsylvania is looking for a Front Counter Clerk to join our team! As the face of our shop, you will be the first person our customers see and hear. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we want to talk to you!
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Greet & Serve: Welcome walk-in customers with a smile and handle phone orders efficiently.
- Manage the Register: Accurately process cash, credit card, and digital payments using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Order Accuracy: Double-check takeout and delivery orders before they go out to ensure customers get exactly what they ordered.
- Keep It Clean: Maintain a spotless front counter, lobby, and dining area according to health and safety standards.
- Teamwork: Coordinate closely with the kitchen crew to ensure smooth communication on order timing and modifications.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer service is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person!
- Skills: Strong communication skills and basic math proficiency for handling transactions.
- Vibe: A positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and evening shifts (our busiest, highest-tip times!).
- Requirements: Must be at least 16 years old and have reliable transportation to our Spotsylvania location.
