- Own end-to-end delivery of medium to large platform features or services, from technical design through deployment and support.
- Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and pairing.
- Collaborate, contribute to, and evolve the internal platform experience, ensuring high usability and developer satisfaction.
- Drive best practices in code quality, observability, security, and operational readiness.
Contribute to the evolution of ID.me’s platform by building foundational services and frameworks used across the organization.

- Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with security compliance in enterprise environments (e.g., SOC2, FedRAMP).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical contexts.
- Passion for mentorship, documentation, and elevating team performance.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD systems.
- Experience building or contributing to internal development platforms, SDKs, or scaffolding tools.
- Understanding of production observability principles (logging, metrics, alerting).
- Demonstrated ownership of at least one significant project or feature from design through launch.
