Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Careerscape is recruiting for a Richmond hospital that needs Nuclear Medicine Technologists to perform specialized diagnostic imaging using radioactive materials. You'll prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment.

- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures
- Operate gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
- Position patients correctly for quality images
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Process and analyze images
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow radiation safety protocols and NRC regulations
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine
- Active Virginia state license
- 2-4 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physical ability to assist patients and equipment
- BLS certification current
