Steam Power Design Engineer

salary: $46.00 - 56.26 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Provide critical technical guidance to field engineers and service managers during outage planning and execution for industrial, fossil, and nuclear steam turbines.
- Lead small-scale steam turbine service projects, such as interchangeability studies, ensuring successful execution and dedicated customer support on design queries.
- Advise sourcing and parts engineering teams to resolve material substitutions and guarantee that product design requirements for form, fit, and function are met.
- Evaluate product and process non-conformances to drive robust corrective and preventive actions through structured root cause analysis.
- Partner with global design teams to develop safe, reliable, and high-quality steam turbine components.
- Experience level: Experienced
