Student and Discipleship Pastor– Now Hiring

Franklin Heights Church is a vibrant, multi-site, multi-generational church located in beautiful Franklin County, Virginia. Every week, nearly 2,000 people gather across our five campuses to worship, grow, and serve—experiencing the powerful work of God in our community and beyond.

We are passionately committed to being a SENT church. Through the FHC Network, we are planting and revitalizing churches locally and globally. Our church is honored to be ranked among the top 20 in the nation in giving to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, in partnership with the North American Mission Board.

Student ministry and discipleship are critical components in our relationship with God, growing our youth, and our mission as a SENT church. We are currently seeking a full-time Student and Discipleship Pastor to lead this ministry at our CrossPointe location.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Student Ministry

· Coordinate and provide leadership in developing and implementing a vibrant and growing Student Ministry

Develop and implement a plan for ongoing parent training and encouragement to understand their role and responsibility to disciple their students.
Recruit, train and coordinate workers for Student Ministry classes, programs, and events
Discipleship

· Develop and maintain a comprehensive system for continuous spiritual growth, in cooperation with the Campus Pastor, by helping people become passionate disciples of Christ in their worship, walk, and work.

· Evaluate and supervise the purchasing of educational aids, supplies and curriculum, and coordinate room assignments as appropriate for maintaining discipleship/Connect Group programs. Encourage existing discipleship/Connect Groups and strategically launch new groups to encourage spiritual growth.

Student Ministry experience required.
