Marketing Sales Rep

We are local and located near our patients to deliver timely care with an authentic approach. We service the following areas: Caroline County, Charles City County, Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Essex County, Gloucester County, Hanover County, Henrico County, Hopewell, James City County, King and Queen County, King William County, Lancaster County, Middlesex County, New Kent County, Petersburg, Prince George County, Richmond County, and Richmond City.
Position
The marketing/sales rep is a self-starter, problem solving professional responsible for driving starts of care in assigned territory. This individual will create and grow relationships with new and current referring accounts to meet monthly and quarterly admission goals. This individual will also educate referral sources on the mission, services, and benefits of UMIT Home Health. Pay will be competitive base salary plus an incentive plan based on experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meeting and building relationships with referral sources
- Obtain referrals through assigned referral sources.
- Maintain relationships with referral sources.
- Collaborate to ensure intake/clinical team has required referral information/orders.
- Assist as needed to collect required provider signatures.
- Achieve and exceed sales goal on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Submit sales reports and plans to director on a quarterly basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (minimum), Bachelor's (preferred).
- 3 years working as a sales/marketing rep in healthcare.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience working with EMR.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the primary functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Environment will vary from physician offices to rehab centers to hospitals to the home health office. Stress level is moderate with a fast pace and time sensitive deadlines. Employee would also be required to drive a moderate amount, which requires frequently getting in/out of car and carrying objects at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
