Quality Technician
shift: First
work hours: 6 PM - 6 AM
education: No Degree Required Responsibilities
- Execute rigorous quality assessments on raw materials and finished goods to ensure adherence to strict manufacturing specifications
- Operate specialized testing equipment including calipers and moisture meters to perform technical evaluations like color matching and rub testing
- Identify product deviations and initiate formal quarantine procedures to prevent defective materials from advancing
- Maintain precise digital records of all inspection data using Excel and SharePoint to track compliance and production trends
- Perform systematic audits and re-tests on rejected materials to validate quality recovery or confirm final disposition
- Work cross-functionally with production teams to diagnose the root causes of quality issues and implement preventative solutions
- Maintain total compliance with industry safety and sanitation protocols including GMP and HACCP regulations
- Conduct routine floor checks at various manufacturing cells to verify that ongoing processes meet established benchmarks
- Apply advanced arithmetic and measurement skills in both metric and imperial units to ensure product dimensions align with customer requirements
