LPN Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: North Chesterfield, VA 23235 (Richmond area)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Inpatient Rehab, 44-bed unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 11, 2025 – November 10, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour days (07:00 – 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1230 - $1270
• Employment Type: Travel nursing job
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs

LPN Qualifications and Requirements

• Active LPN or LVN license (Virginia or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), long term care, or similar healthcare setting
• Proficient in medication administration and basic med-surg nursing
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Preferred experience with Hoyer lifts, IVs, PEG tubes, tracheostomies, peritoneal dialysis, and wound care
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience required

LPN Job Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an acute inpatient rehab and long term care environment
• Administer medications and perform med-surg nursing duties
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), healthcare technicians, and other clinical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Assist patients with mobility and operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts
• Accurately document patient care in the EMR system
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and supportive healthcare team environment
