Summary

Flatter, Inc. is hiring a highly qualified Software Developer to support the Defense Logistics Agency.

Responsibilities

• Apply your .NET MVC, Vue/JavaScript, relational databases, and Agile life cycle software development techniques to modernize web applications and attain mission goals.

• Use your analytical skills to identify the needs and the environment to ensure the solution being developed considers the current architecture and operating environment

• Apply software modernization knowledge and techniques to modernize legacy software applications

• Assist with designing and developing web and mobile applications

• Leverage your talents to ensure future functionality and enhancements

Requirements

• Experience with IT as a web application developer using Vue framework, JavaScript, .NET Core, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages for application development

• Experience with Ajax frameworks or controls

• Knowledge of AWS Security Control, AWS RDS, AWS S3, DoD STIGs, DoD IA controls is a plus

• Knowledge and some experience of developing applications using Vue.js, Node.js. etc. is strongly recommended

• Knowledge and experience of MS Azure DevOps (or other DevOps techniques) to perform task such as automated pipeline definition, automated deployment to different environments, and other deployment and sustainment related tasks

• Experience with reading, writing, and programmatically manipulating XML

• Experience with a UI component, including Telerik, Bootstrap, Data Table, Swagger, Razor, HTML5, and Web Methods

• Knowledge of software design patterns

• Experience utilizing SQL databases and data structures

• Excellent analytical aptitudes coupled with strong oral and written communication capabilities

• Strong understanding of DoD Acquisition Lifecycle including micro purchases and financial is strongly recommended

Security clearance: Active Secret

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related IT field, preferred; OR Relevant equivalent experience in Web Development.

• 3+ years of experience with as a Web application developer using .NET MVC and C# or JavaScript as an object-oriented programming language for application development

• 3+ years of experience with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Access, or MySQL

• Experience with Web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, and experience with web services, service-oriented architecture, or RESTful services

• Experience with mobile code technologies

• AWS Solutions Architect Certification, preferred
