Full Stack Developer
The successful candidate will support the ongoing development and sustainment of a cloud-ready platform , designed to deliver scalable, integrated NCBRE (Nuclear, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and high-yield Explosives) modeling tools, data analytics, and decision support applications. These capabilities enable real-time collaboration and operational readiness for the Warfighter and strategic partners.
As part of the DTRA Research and Development Directorate (RD), you will play a critical role in modern software engineering efforts supporting national security, while ensuring solutions align with Agile development practices and Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance.
Responsibilities :Provide full stack, front end, or back end software development support using modern technologies including Angular , Java , AWS services , and PostgreSQL .
Support the development and integration of platform capabilities for consequence assessment, wargaming, planning, and information analytics.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint and release planning to ensure alignment with mission priorities.
Document software development lifecycle activities in accordance with RMF and support efforts toward achieving and maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO).
Assist with system deployment, testing, and sustainment at government-directed locations.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proficient in Java , Angular , and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Experience with AWS cloud services and PostgreSQL databases.
Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience supporting ATO processes.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
Active Secret Clearance required
