As a Security Professional Distribution Patrol Unarmed in Richmond, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for people and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact regularly with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior within the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the logistics and distribution facility as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
