Job Title: Functional Analyst – Workday Finance

Location: Washington, DC
Assignment Duration: 5 months (with possible extension)
Employment Type: Contract

The Technology Services (TS) ERP Cloud Solution Delivery team supports and maintains enterprise cloud platforms including Workday, Adaptive Planning, and Coupa . We are seeking a Workday Functional Analyst – Finance to support the production Workday environment and ongoing enhancements.

This role will focus on troubleshooting production issues, configuring Workday Finance modules, supporting integrations, managing biannual releases, and delivering system enhancements . The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure stable operations and continuous improvement of Workday Finance solutions.

• Support the Production Workday Finance environment , including issue troubleshooting and resolution

• Configure, implement, test, and document Workday Finance functional solutions

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design system solutions

• Configure Workday Finance business processes and functional areas to meet organizational needs

• Perform end-to-end testing of integrations, reports, and business processes

• Conduct regression testing for upcoming biannual Workday releases

• Analyze Workday release notes, assess impact, and implement new features and enhancements

• Research, analyze, and resolve integration issues between Workday and Coupa

• Support and troubleshoot Workday integrations, including Orchestrate, Studio, and EIB

• Document project deliverables such as requirements, design specifications, test plans, and test results

• Collaborate with internal ERP, integration, and cloud delivery teams to support ongoing initiatives

• Proven experience configuring and supporting Workday Finance

• Strong understanding of Workday business processes and configuration framework

• Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (Orchestrate, Studio, EIB, or equivalent)

• Experience supporting production environments and resolving system issues

• Experience with end-to-end testing and regression testing

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working with Coupa integrations

• Experience supporting biannual Workday releases

• Prior experience in ERP cloud solution delivery or enterprise environments
