A Day in the Life
Morning kicks off with a quick review of calendars for the team—rescheduling a client call, confirming a meeting room, and preparing a few handouts. You field a couple of calls and triage inbox messages so the right information reaches the right people. By midday, you’ve polished a short report, updated a budget tracker, and made sure the meeting this afternoon has everything it needs—agenda, materials, and logistics. The day wraps with tidying shared spaces and logging expenses so records stay accurate and audit‑ready.
What You’ll Own
- Streamline office workflows and procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
- Professionally handle incoming calls, emails, and messages; route and respond as needed.
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments for team members.
- Draft, edit, and format correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Support basic bookkeeping; track expenses and maintain budget records with accuracy.
- Plan and coordinate meetings, including logistics and preparation of materials.
- Provide general administrative support across the team as priorities shift.
- Keep the office neat, organized, and well supplied.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; extra training in office administration is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative assistant or similar support role.
- Confidence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
- A positive, proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Comfort with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
