Cabinet Builder

Job Purpose:

This position will be responsible for producing assembled cabinets from component material to acceptable quality standards. The dedicated hard working individual will be expected to work within the framework of a team and produce cabinets both with a team member and individually. The Builder must maintain the minimum daily production standards, and will be evaluated by members of the supervisory team to ensure that quality and production standards are achieves.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Assemble cabinets to both quality and production standards

• Work as a member of a team and be able to perform at different work stations throughout the production process

• The ability to build specialty cabinets and install accessory items to both quality and production standards

• Assist department leadership with multiple tasks including continuous improvement initiatives, inventory and product reclamation

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to follow all safety rules

• Possession of a high school diploma or a general equivalency diploma (G.E.D)

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. Occasionally will need to lift and/or move up to 120 lbs. with assistance

• Ability to understand instructions and to follow procedures

• Good work ethic required and must maintain a professional attitude

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work in various roles in a dynamic work environment and take on new tasks

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience necessary

• Must be highly organized, self-motivated and have reliable attendance

• Must be a team player with a positive and cooperative attitude

• Must show courtesy to co-workers, customers, and all others with whom contact occurs.
