Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) opportunity is available in Locust Grove, VA, offering a specialized role focused on NICU care within a 140-bed medical center. This contract position requires advanced neonatal expertise alongside general respiratory therapy skills, providing a dynamic clinical environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Qualifications and Desired Experience: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Minimum of 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience NICU experience with a skill level of 3 or higher is mandatory Proficient in CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, intubation assistance, and mechanical ventilation Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications preferred or attainable post-hire Familiarity with Hamilton C1, V60, Hamilton MR1 ventilators and Meditech documentation system Commitment to adhering to an all-black scrubs dress code

Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care and support to NICU and adult patients using advanced ventilatory techniques Assist with mechanical ventilation management and intubations within the neonatal unit Collaborate effectively with a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions Participate in unit-specific policies and uphold departmental standards

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
