Remote Outside Sales Consultant (GFPSCNVA)

Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers stay compliant and protected?
We are seeking an experienced Remote Outside Sales Consultant to drive growth by developing new business and expanding relationships with existing customers in the Norfolk, VA area. In this role, you'll be selling code-required inspection, testing, and maintenance services that businesses rely on to meet local and state compliance requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative sales professional who enjoys the flexibility of working remotely while building relationships with customers and growing a territory.
What You'll Do
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory
• Generate leads through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Schedule and conduct customer meetings, both virtually and in person as needed
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers
• Partner with the Inside Sales team to uncover additional sales opportunities
• Present solutions that help customers meet required safety and compliance standards
• Track leads, opportunities, and customer activity in CRM systems
• Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate sales records
• Stay informed on industry trends and market opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience
• Experience in construction, facility services, building services, fire protection, or related industries preferred
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Salesforce experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
