Data Architect
Kforce has a client in Richmond, VA that is in need of a Data Architect. Responsibilities:
- Architect and model data solutions using Snowflake and Azure
- The Data Architect will build conceptual data models and drive them to execution
- Implement stored procedures and avoid additional transition layers
- Work with Snowflake to build comprehensive data sets
- Conceptualize and implement the Enterprise Data Model (EDM) for specific business units (e.g., Retail Supply, Auto/Finance, ERP, HR, Accounting)
- Develop models that include autonomy and taxonomy for primary and secondary domains
- The Data Architect will collaborate with the Data Engineering team and business analytics team to ensure successful execution
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to discuss data requirements and solutions
- Proven experience as a Data Architect
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake and Azure cloud services
- Experience building and executing conceptual data models
- Proficiency in stored procedures and data warehousing
- Ability to work with Snowflake to build data sets and conceptualize EDM
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with business stakeholders
