Training Specialist

We are seeking a Training Specialist III as part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Works closely with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and other staff to conduct the research necessary to develop and revise training courses for instructors and students
• Prepares appropriate training materials and conducts training as required
• Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs
• Develops all instructor materials (course outline, background materials, and training aids)
• Develops all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms)
• Creates workbooks, guides, video scripts, software, written role plays, simulations, case studies etc. to meet learning objectives
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks
• Often works under general supervision but may report directly to a project lead
• May have first line responsibility for certain projects or functions
• A substantial degree of creativity and latitude is required

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: BA/BS
• Minimum Experience: Four (4) years or more
