Responsibilities

Working on the Department of War critical technology areas offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the forefront of advancing national defense capabilities in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Directed Energy, and more. Your role will involve close interaction with senior DoW leaders and stakeholders across the S&T community. You will have the opportunity to contribute to decision-making processes impacting the Department's most critical modernization efforts. This project requires a high level of professionalism and a commitment to shaping the future of national security capabilities.

As a Clinical Research Coordinator in Anomalous Health Incidents, you will have the opportunity to do the following:
• Support the Director of the Anomalous Health Incidents Research Program within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering as a subject matter expert in clinical research
• Evaluate research test plans across multiple organizations. Coordinate research plans to develop and analyze common program metrics in order to enable cross organizational comparisons
• Support strategic planning and evaluation of relevant emerging technologies
• Assist in outreach to the medical community including other U.S. Government, industry, academia, and international partners
• Assist with and prepare presentations, reports, and other business products as directed by the Director

Qualifications
• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility within the last 24 months
• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.
• Master's in a relevant subject
• 20 years of applicable experience including 5 years of experience directly applicable to the phenomenology under study; experience in handling human subjects research, evaluating clinical protocols and drafting consent forms.
• Experience in interacting with government agencies and developing briefs and assessments
• Proficient in experimental design and statistical analysis for neuroscience methods, biotechnological protocols, small animal test protocols, and/or applied physics experimentation
