Outbound Sales Agent

We are one of the large shed sales lot than offers portable prefab sheds, metal industrial garages, and other outdoor structures.

We are seeking a part time Sales Representative to join our team! We need someone to work 2-4 Saturdays a month from 10-2. (There is also the possibility of picking up a full day during the week as well.) This would be filling in for full time staff a our Culpeper and Spotsylvania lots. (and once in a while perhaps our Dillwyn office.)
You will help our customers find the storage building of their needs and process sales/contracts. You will oversee the day to day operations of the sales lot by answering phone calls and emails, interacting with customers, designing 3D building specs, completing sales contracts, updating our website information, and advertising on Facebook market and other advertising platforms. Training will be provided but a basic knowledge of customer service, computer skills and a willingness to learn is mandatory. Pay is based off of "hourly pay" or "commissions". The staff get to choose the method they are most comfortable with or a hybrid of both options. If you're hungry to make sales, we are blessed to be able to pay you well for it!
Responsibilities:

- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments
- Educate the customer on what they need
- Help the customer dream up possibilities
- Design building specs using our program
- Make sales and complete contracts
- Daily post social media content
- Be a servant to anyone who enters our doors
- Offer solutions and ideas for storage needs
- Update websites
- Place advertisements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- A willingness to serve the customer
- A pleasant attitude
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement successful marketing strategies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration is a bonus but not required
- Experience with basic computer systems and social media platforms is a must
- Experience in the home renovation or outdoor living industry is preferred but can be taught
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
- Self-motivated
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
