What You’ll Do

As a Sales Associate at Clothes Mentor, you’ll play a key role in promoting all aspects of our business, from buying and selling to pricing and merchandising. Here’s a glimpse of your day-to-day responsibilities: - Customer Service Excellence : Greet customers warmly, determine their needs, and handle transactions professionally and enthusiastically. - Product Knowledge : Familiarize yourself with our products, brands, and pricing to confidently make recommendations that meet customers’ needs. - Buying and Selling : Assist customers in selling their gently used items to the store, reinforcing their purchases and encouraging repeat visits. - Merchandising and Pricing : Price and ticket items based on store guidelines, restock the floor, and maintain attractive displays. - Point of Sale Operations : Master our POS system for transactions, returns, and other store operations. - Achieve Sales Goals : Apply sound sales techniques to meet personal and store-wide goals while ensuring customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need: - At least 1 year of customer service experience (preferred). - A team-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - A goal-driven attitude with a focus on sales and customer satisfaction. - Basic computer literacy to operate our POS system.

Physical Requirements

This role involves: - Standing and walking for up to 8 hours a day. - Lifting items up to 40 lbs. without assistance. - Bending, rotating, and reaching to manage merchandise in a retail environment.
