Are you ready to help shape the future of Oregon Youth Authoritys facilities We are seeking a Construction Project Manager 1 to lead and coordinate construction and remodel projects across the agency. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe functional and aligned with OYAs mission.

As a Construction Project Manager 1 you will oversee projects from planning through completion managing budgets schedules and contract administration. You will monitor contractor performance ensure compliance with all requirements and provide thorough inspection services to maintain quality and safety standards. Collaboration will be key as you will work closely with agency staff contractors architects and engineers to deliver successful projects.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented highly organized and committed to teamwork. Strong project management skills excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. We are also seeking someone who applies an equity lens to all aspects of planning and implementation ensuring our facilities are inclusive and accessible.

To qualify for this position (minimum qualifications):

• A Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Business Administration Public Administration Architecture Planning or Engineering AND one year experience related to the class series concept; OR

• An Associate Degree (or comparable college course work) in Architectural Engineering or Construction technology; AND 30 months experience related to the class series concept; OR

• Four years of experience related to the class series concept.

Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Oregon Project Management Associate Certification (OPMA) or other related certification will substitute for 1 year of the qualifying experience.

Additional Information:

• Limited Duration: This is a limited duration appointment that is expected to end when project is complete. Limited duration appointments are benefits eligible and have a designated maximum length of service. This position has the potential to become permanent.

• Hybrid Telework: This position may be approved for 2 days per week telework at home depending on business needs.
