Our Potential Opportunity

INTECH Process Automation Inc. is seeking Backend Engineer (Node.js) to join our growing Industrial Intelligence Solutions (IIS) division. This role is central to building next-generation IIoT, data, and industrial AI applications that support industries such as Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Food & Beverages, and Metals & Mining. At INTECH, you will work on impactful projects, developing intelligent software solutions that utilize real-time operational data, advanced analytics, and cutting-edge Generative AI to solve complex industrial challenges. These AI-powered tools are crafted to enhance productivity, improve decision-making processes, and foster an environment of efficiency and innovation in the workplace.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Node.js applications, services, and APIs.
• Manage data effectively by working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design and implement application features based on technical specifications and business requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
• Develop and deploy new features, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and optimizing processes.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Monitor and enhance application performance to support business growth and scaling needs.
• Optimize applications for high scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently in real-time.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in testing, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 -5 years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Nest.js & typescript
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming, closures, and ES6+
• Proficient with Node.js frameworks such as Express or Nest.js
• Experience with RESTful API design and GraphQL is a plus
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus
• Expertise in working with databases, such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architecture is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to work.
