Job Description:

We have a growing need to expand our HVAC department with an experienced HVAC Project Manager and Estimator to lead our HVAC technicians in installing residential HVAC systems. As an HVAC Project Manager and Estimator, you must work closely with installation technicians, ensure customer loyalty, and communicate clearly and concisely directly with customers, vendors, and suppliers to provide accurate information on job or project status. You will serve as a company representative and provide Quality Service to our Customers.

The preferred candidate will be responsible for providing customer-facing estimates for system changes and ensuring high-quality installations of Heat Pumps, Air Conditioners, Gas Furnaces, and Air Handlers. Knowledge of Hydronic Boilers is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Meet with customers at their homes to provide solutions for a wide range of HVAC needs, build rapport, and educate them on product and service options that fit their needs.
• Work closely with the office and installation teams to ensure a smooth, efficient process from start to finish.
• Be the primary contact throughout the project, including a home visit after the project is complete to ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Answer questions and educate potential customer on the steps required to add products to their home.
• Keep detailed records and log all interactions and communications with potential customers in business software.
• Create accurate, complete sales proposals that can be seamlessly transferred to the installation team.
• Order and track materials required for quoted jobs.
• Ensure warranty applications are completed and submitted correctly.
• Review technicians' work to ensure quality meets established standards.
• Organize training and ongoing support for install teams.
• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the Residential HVAC market.
• 10+ years of HVAC training.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Clean Driving Record.
