Echo Tech Job Details

• Location: Eau Claire, WI (54701) – Wisconsin healthcare jobs
• Facility: Hospital – Cardiology Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/29/2025 – End: 12/29/2025)
• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 – 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,670 - $2,740
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Approximately 7 patients per Echo Tech
• First-time travel Echo Techs welcome!

Echo Tech Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience as an Echo Tech or Cardiac Sonographer
• Valid Wisconsin Echo Tech license required at time of application
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• RDCS or RCS certification required
• Associate degree or 2-year technical diploma in a healthcare program
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Previous charge Echo Tech experience preferred

Echo Tech Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and cardiac sonography procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Conduct specialized cardiac studies: 12 Lead EKG, Bubble Study, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Treadmill/Pharmacologic Stress Echo
• Provide cardiac imaging in acute care, outpatient, ER, and ICU/ED settings
• Utilize Siemens equipment and imaging with contrast agents
• Maintain isolation precautions and adhere to hospital protocols
• Float within the hospital as needed to support patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging services
