As a Security Officer - Flex Lobby Check-In in McLean, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a high-end retail location, you will greet guests, support access control and badge processes, and monitor activity using computer and/or tablet systems. You will communicate clearly with store teams and visitors, document security-related observations, and help create a welcoming first impression. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Greet and assist guests, shoppers, and store associates by verifying identification as required, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
• Monitor the front entrance area, lobby traffic, and available cameras for unusual activity and report observations to management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete required logs and reports such as visitor entries, incident documentation, and shift activity notes, and communicate key information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
