We're seeking a seasoned Inventory Operations Manager to lead all inventory-related functions for UAT, including logistics, analytics, and Pricebook management. This role will
oversee and unify the work of our existing inventory leads ensuring alignment, efficiency, and strategic execution across teams. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will provide oversight, set priorities, and drive collaboration across supply chain, analytics, and accounting functions. You will manage multiple direct reports, partner cross-functionally with leaders in operations, purchasing, and finance, and ensure all inventory processes support business growth, cost control, and operational excellence.
Inventory Operations Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the existing inventory lead positions, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational best practices.
- Oversee coordination between purchasing and warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate material flow across all UAT locations.
- Direct auditing and cycle counting activities to maintain compliance with inventory accuracy targets and reporting standards.
- Manage accounting review processes for missing or incorrect invoice data, serving as the liaison between operations and inventory accounting.
- Oversee Pricebook management, ensuring material and equipment records are accurate, up to date, and cost-effective.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for logistics, analytics, and Pricebook functions to track efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with supply chain, analytics, and accounting leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Drive adoption of technology, tools, and reporting systems to improve visibility and decision-making across inventory-related functions.
- Hire, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performance, collaborative team environment.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager, providing insights and recommendations that support both operational and financial objectives.
- Occasional travel (15-25%) is required for site visits, trainings and meetings.
Inventory Operations Manager Required Skills
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple inventory-related functions in a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, inventory management, analytics, and accounting processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, team development, and motivating diverse groups to achieve shared goals.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage competing priorities effectively.
Inventory Operations Manager Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations leadership roles.
- Experience managing multi-location operations and cross-functional initiatives.
