I opened my agency in 1983 after starting my career as a State Farm claims adjuster and spending time in the finance industry. State Farm became my third career stop, and it turned into a lifelong profession. Today, our team includes six members, and we operate with a close-knit, family-style culture built on teamwork and long-term success. Im a graduate of Frostburg State University, where I earned a degree in business administration and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. I remain very involved with the university, serving on the foundation board, alumni board of directors, and the college of business board. Im also deeply involved in my church, where I serve as Chairman of Trustees, financial officer, and a member of the personnel committee. Over the years, Ive also had the opportunity to mentor and develop very successful future agents. Our office culture is built around the idea that talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships. Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide available product information.
- Assist in developing relationships with new and existing customers across multiple product lines.
- Support daily office operations, including documentation, scheduling, and follow-up activities.
- Participate in marketing efforts to promote awareness within the community.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve office objectives.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in customer service, business support, or insurance preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain necessary state insurance licenses.
