SAP IBP Functional Consultant - Remote
Main Sail LLC is looking for an SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) consultant for a Greenfield implementation of a new S/4HANA environment.
The consultant should have knowledge of S/4HANA Advanced Available-to-Promise and experience in one or more of the following areas:- Demand Planning and Forecasting: Purchasing or Stock Redistribution.
- Inventory Optimization.
- Available-to-Promise.
- Backorder Processing.
Responsibilities include:
- Gather requirements during workshops and/or from written business process documents.
- Design standard out-of-the-box (OOTB) solutions to meet defined requirements
- Propose business processes changes to avoid heavy customization.
- Develop, write, and execute test scripts.
- Demonstrate solutions to leadership and clients.
- Work with other functional areas to ensure full end-to-end business processing (ex. Inventory receipts, financial postings for planning run PRs).
Mandatory Experience:
- 7 years SAP IBP Implementation experience.
- Requirements gathering/documentation.
- Business process mapping.
- SAP IBP implementation.
- SAP IBP integration with S/4HANA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP S/4 SD, MM, or Planning experience.
- Relevant SAP S/4HANA certifications.
Location: Remote with potential travel to client’s site for workshops.
Period of Performance: Anticipated start in March 2025 with target MVP deployment in March 2027. Expect the client to have contract options for execution of subsequent years.
