POSITION: Cyber Security Support Specialist

LOCATION: Stafford, VA

STATUS: Full time – Contingent Hire- Onsite work

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: PLEASE READ

· Education: BS in Cyber Security required

· Certification : Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certificate required

· Experience: 5 plus years of USN/ USMC Cyber Security experience required.

· Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. Citizen with Active TS/SCI Clearance

· Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements

· Skills: Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience in supporting policy and interfacing with senior level USN/ USMC leadership is highly preferred.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

· Provide subject matter expertise for the Government by developing and reviewing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST) packages and documents.

· Assist the Government by conducting Nessus and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans and providing support to the Government with review of Nessus and SCAP reports scan reports when required.

· Assist the Government by reviewing Cybersecurity SOPs (e.g., Disaster Recovery Plan) that addresses cyber security policies.

· Develop an Information System Continuous Monitoring Plan (ISCMP) that addresses the requirements for RMF continuous monitoring for systems.

· Provide technical advice concerning the security architectures and security engineering system specifications.

· Provide subject matter expertise to support the Government in the review for a cross-domain solution for data transfer between geographically dispersed nodes and events between different classification levels.

· Perform Operational Directive (OPDIR) status reporting.

· Provide Cybersecurity Integrated Product Team support through facilitating and attending stakeholder meetings.

· Draft presentations, provide expert advice, capturing action items, and creating meeting minutes.

· Support client with technical documentation reviews, composition of Cybersecurity plans and documentation, assistance with conducting technical reviews and testing plans.

· Establish implementation of a configuration management (CM) plan, and assistance in maintaining and updating engineering technical data packages (TDP).
