Warehouse Supervisor

We are a growing company in the manufacturing industry seeking a hands-on, experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and optimize our Shipping & Receiving operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth, timely, and cost-effective delivery of products to customers, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all inbound and outbound logistics.

What You'll Do

As our Warehouse Supervisor, you'll take ownership of all warehouse operations, including:

• Overseeing all shipping and receiving activities to ensure on-time delivery and accurate inbound processing.
• Scheduling and dispatching company and third-party trucks for efficient pickups and deliveries.
• Coordinating with drivers to prepare the most effective delivery routes.
• Managing a team of warehouse staff - setting expectations, conducting evaluations, and ensuring a productive, safe work environment.
• Partnering with outside carriers to negotiate the best rates and service levels.
• Monitoring daily production output and coordinating with departments to align shipping schedules.
• Maintaining inventory of finished goods and shipping supplies.
• Tracking deliveries, resolving discrepancies, and handling mis-shipments quickly and professionally.
• Ensuring all company trucks, vans, and lift equipment are well maintained and operated safely.

Who You Are

We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is ready to take on full responsibility for the department. You'll bring:

• 5–10 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3–5 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Solid knowledge of shipping/receiving processes, inventory flow, and logistics best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and experience with shipping systems (UPS/FedEx). Familiarity with Solar Soft or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication skills to work across teams and with outside vendors.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, safety procedures, and production schedules.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for most of the day and lift materials as needed.
