ENT Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Virginia
Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced ENT Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed medical team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and histories for ENT-related concerns
- Assist in the diagnosis and management of patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions
- Perform clinical procedures such as nasal and throat examinations, biopsies, and drainage
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options, self-care, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Participate in regular staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing with a focus on family or acute care
- Previous experience in ENT, primary care, or related healthcare settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development
