Job Summary:

We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Technical Writer & Test Developer to strengthen our internal knowledge ecosystem and customer responsiveness. This role combines technical writing, test development, data stewardship, and prompt engineering to help us document and scale technical excellence across the organization.

The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex cyber, engineering, and computing environments and can distill intricate technical concepts into clear, accessible language. You’ll curate and standardize internal knowledge, contribute to testing systems and processes, and serve as a critical node in maintaining real-time corporate technical awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and manage technical documentation across teams—ensuring clarity, consistency, and usability.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, and scripts that validate technical systems and business workflows.
  • Act as a curator of institutional technical knowledge, enforcing standardized language and document practices across the organization.
  • Leverage prompt engineering techniques to refine AI system outputs for internal use or customer interaction.
  • Perform technical intelligence analysis to monitor emerging tools, trends, and technologies relevant to company operations.
  • Maintain structured and up-to-date knowledge bases, wikis, and repositories to support rapid customer response.
  • Work closely with developers, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure technical documentation supports product development, compliance, and customer service goals.
  • Serve as a data steward, ensuring that internal documentation and datasets reflect the most current and relevant business and technical information.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Business, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical writing, technical documentation, testing, or analytical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in prompt engineering, data curation, or technical AI applications.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely about technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation quality.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: cybersecurity, enterprise IT, engineering, software systems.
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and handling concurrent documentation projects.
  • Familiarity with tools like Confluence, SharePoint, Git, Markdown, JIRA, or other collaborative and documentation platforms.
  • Active Secret clearance and eligible to obtain Top Secret.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in intelligence analysis, business analytics, or systems thinking.
  • Experience with Agile or DevSecOps workflows.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or SOC 2.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, YAML) or automation tools for test development.
  • Experience supporting customer success, technical sales, or help desk operations through well-maintained technical resources.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
