Laundry Attendant - Hilton Alexandria Old Town

Hilton Alexandria Old Town is looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our team!

This 252-room property is located on King Street in Alexandria’s vibrant Old Town. King Street Metro Station is across the street, providing easy links to Washington D.C. and Reagan National Airport. The free King Street Trolley stops on our doorstep and we have rental bikes available to help you explore the neighborhood.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting and full availability during the AM and PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Shift Pattern: Full availability needed during AM and PM shifts including weekends and holidays

Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour

What will I be doing?

As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area.
• Maintain stock levels.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Perform additional laundry services, as needed.
