KSA's/Required Qualifications Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Able to be present for tutoring either in-person or online during expected hours of availability, including spontaneous tutoring for walk-in traffic at the campus Final grade of “A” or “B” in desired course(s) to tutor from an accredited college or university. Completion of a minimum of 12 college or university credits. Additional Considerations Experience in tutoring, may be peer tutoring in an educational setting or individual tutoring in a professional setting. Laurel Ridge faculty recommendation for each desired course to tutor preferred. Documented evidence of tutoring/instructional experience in an academic setting and transcripts demonstrating successful completion of each course preferred. Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel Travel as per any required duties of the position, such as to sites/campuses and any training. Ability to cover assignments throughout the college service region as necessary for the job is required.
