This role is focused on ensuring cybersecurity requirements, RMF considerations, security technologies, compliance activities, and authorization needs are incorporated early in the project lifecycle and maintained throughout development, integration, testing, and fielding.

The position supports ACC/A26 stakeholders, ACC Cybersecurity Chief ISSO/ISSMs, and ISR Enterprise IT teams by managing tailored cybersecurity efforts, coordinating with unit ISSOs/ISSMs, tracking cybersecurity risk and compliance activities, and ensuring mission systems and emerging technologies are integrated in a secure, compliant, and operationally effective manner.

Specific Support Tasks are as follows:

  • The Contractor shall ensure cybersecurity, RMF, assessment and authorization, and security compliance requirements are identified and incorporated at the onset of new IT projects and technology initiatives.
  • The Contractor shall coordinate with ACC/A26, ACC Cybersecurity Chief ISSO/ISSMs, unit ISSOs/ISSMs, system owners, technical teams, and operational stakeholders to align project execution with USAF, DoD, IC, and national cybersecurity standards.
  • The Contractor shall manage cybersecurity project activities related to security plans, POA&Ms, A&A workflow tools, ATOs, patch management, IAVAs, DoD 8140 requirements, FISMA compliance tasks, and cybersecurity reporting.
  • The Contractor shall develop and maintain cybersecurity project schedules, action trackers, risk registers, milestone plans, compliance dashboards, and executive-level status reports.
  • The Contractor shall support the integration of cybersecurity requirements into system development, architecture reviews, test plans, implementation schedules, exercise support plans, experimentation activities, and system integration events.
  • The Contractor shall gather, analyze, and report data on the condition and progress of ACC/A26 cybersecurity programs, identifying risks, dependencies, schedule impacts, and compliance gaps.
  • The Contractor shall provide guidance to ISSOs/ISSMs, commanders, and project stakeholders on cybersecurity program improvement, risk mitigation, and security compliance execution.
  • The Contractor shall support evaluation of emerging ISR technologies and non-materiel IT solutions to ensure security, compliance, and authorization considerations are addressed prior to integration and fielding.
  • The Contractor shall coordinate cybersecurity inputs for enterprise IT task management, RFIs, technical action items, configuration baseline activities, and architecture support products.
  • The Contractor shall support development of cybersecurity training materials, work center training, and updated guidance for IT security tools, policies, and procedures.
  • The Contractor shall prepare senior leader briefings, cybersecurity project updates, compliance summaries, risk assessments, and decision-support products.
  • The Contractor shall identify cybersecurity risks, technology security gaps, RMF challenges, and integration issues, and recommend actionable mitigation strategies to improve mission assurance and project execution.
