🏗️ Concrete Estimator – Construction
📍 Manassas, VA
A growing construction contractor specializing in structural concrete is looking to hire a Concrete Estimator to support and take ownership of its preconstruction efforts.
This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in pricing and winning work across a strong pipeline of commercial and residential construction projects .
🔧 The Role:
Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for concrete scopes
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Price scopes including: foundations, slab-on-grade, elevated decks/podium slabs, parking structures & structural concrete system
Coordinate with internal teams during preconstruction and bidding phases
Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities
Take ownership of the estimating function within the business
🏗️ Project Types:
You will be working across a variety of ground-up commercial and large-scale residential projects , including:
Multifamily apartment developments (garden-style & podium)
Mixed-use developments (retail + residential + parking)
Commercial buildings (office, retail, institutional)
Military / federal construction projects
Student housing developments
Senior living communities
✅ Requirements:
Experience in construction estimating (concrete preferred)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and pricing accuracy
Experience with takeoff and estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, OST, Planswift, Excel)
