Sorter - Part Time

Maximize profitability through world class customer service and efficiently processing quality items.
Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Store Manager or designee is responsible for sorting of apparel and soft line goods into salable or salvage categories. Selection of salable goods must meet quality standards while maintaining quantity of apparel inventory.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers, team members, customers, and donors.
- Ability to work within a team situation.
- Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Experience:
- High school, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Special Requirements:
- Having a cell phone is not required for employment, but access to applications and/or resources may be limited unless a cell phone is used for authentication.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
- Able to stand, bend and reach.
- Able to lift, push, pull, carry, or otherwise move up to forty (40) pounds with no support regularly. Over forty (40) pounds request for additional team member assistance as needed.
Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion. Manual dexterity is required.
