Full-Time Leadership Role

An outpatient physical therapy office in Purcellville, VA is hiring a Physical Therapist Director to help lead clinical care, support staff, and strengthen the overall patient experience.

Location: Purcellville, VA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 per year
Position: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Director plays an important role in how patients and staff experience the clinic each day. Patients need thoughtful evaluations, clear treatment plans, and progress they can understand. Staff need direction, communication, and support during busy clinic days.

This role brings both together. You will treat patients, guide the team, review documentation, and help ensure the clinic continues to deliver organized, high-quality outpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create care plans based on clinical findings and personal goals
• Provide outpatient physical therapy treatment
• Lead clinical staff and assist with daily care coordination
• Monitor patient progress and support treatment adjustments
• Review documentation for accuracy and timely completion
• Assist with discharge planning and provider communication
• Support clinic workflow, staff communication, and patient scheduling needs
• Promote consistent care standards throughout the clinic

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers
