Dental Hygienist

We are an established periodontal private practice in McLean, Virginia looking for a dental hygienist to join our team on Mondays and Wednesdays! If you are looking for an office that values culture, compassion, and high standards of patient care then this is the place for you!

Dr. Lillian Carpio and Dr. Waleed Alkakhan are board-certified periodontists that lead our motivated team to deliver the highest standards of periodontal care to their patients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or a new graduate to work directly with our periodontists to treat our amazing patients.

As a dental hygienist we believe you are not only a clinical provider but a patient advocate for oral health giving patients the care, time, and attention they need to help improve their oral health. We offer hygiene mentorship to aid in enhancing your clinical skills, and have two exceptional periodontists that will fully support you.

Minimum Qualifications include: Current dental hygiene license in Virginia and an Associate or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required). CPR certfication. Knowledge in dentistry, dental hygiene, and dental patient screening including medical history and documentation. Ability to take x-rays. And contribute to the clinical needs of the office as needed.

Our hygiene days are Mondays and Wednesdays, where you will work directly with board-certified periodontists to deliver high quality periodontal care to our patients including: periodontal maintenance recalls, scaling/root planing, laser pocket disinfection.
