**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the healthcare location.
+ Assist in maintaining a secure environment by observing activity and reporting any security-related concerns or suspicious behavior.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive conduct.
+ Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
+ Provide customer service by answering questions and offering directions to visitors, patients, and staff as needed.
+ Carry out emergency response activities according to site-specific policies and procedures.
+ Prepare accurate and timely reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
