Overview

Hartstone Senior Living is a new boutique assisted living residence designed to provide a more personal, dignified alternative to large institutional facilities.

With only 14 private suites, we offer an intimate, high touch environment where residents are truly known, and staff have the time and support to provide exceptional care.

We are seeking a Licensed Assisted Living Administrator to lead the launch and daily operations of this flagship location.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a founder led, startup environment and help build a new standard for assisted living.

The Administrator serves as the on site leader responsible for all aspects of community operations, including:

  • staff leadership
  • resident and family experience
  • regulatory compliance
  • occupancy and admissions
  • day-to-day management

This role requires a hands on leader who is comfortable operating in a small, relationship driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the residence
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff
  • Ensure compliance with all Virginia assisted living regulations
  • Maintain survey readiness at all times
  • Deliver a high level of resident and family satisfaction
  • Coordinate admissions, tours, and move-ins
  • Manage staffing schedules and labor efficiency
  • Oversee care coordination and documentation
  • Respond to incidents and ensure proper reporting
  • Foster a positive, accountable, team oriented culture

Qualifications

  • Current Virginia Assisted Living Administrator license (required)
  • Experience in assisted living or senior care leadership
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage both operations and occupancy
  • Comfortable working in a startup / hands-on environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

  • Virginia Assisted Living Administrator (Required)
