We are offering a great opportunity for a PRN Residential Specialist for our Ellis Square residential housing. The hours will be based on the needs of the program. The hours that may be needed will be 7am - 2pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsibleforproviding training and supportive services to persons with Serious Mental Illnesses and or Co-Occurring Disorders living in group homes, their own home environment or supported living program. This position develops, implements and completes all required documentation. Additionally, this position assists consumers with daily living, medication management, general community support, and skills development.

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

One (1) year position related experience working with MH/SA and/or ID/DD field.

Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.

Preferred

Three (3) year position related experience working with MH/SA and/or ID/DD field.

Experience in a residential setting with dual diagnosis.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorder services provisions.

Demonstrated skills in program implementation.

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

Some physical work required assisting consumers with physical disabilities.

Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills and operation.

Willingness and ability to pass Standard First Aide, CPR, Medication Administration Training.

PRN (As Needed) Position: This is an as-needed role with no guaranteed minimum hours. Work schedules will vary based on operational needs and may include days, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

$21.56 – $24.25
