Licensed Plumbing Service Technician
A Day in the Life
From the first call to the final walkthrough, you’ll keep water moving safely and reliably across Richmond, VA (23832). You’ll shift between residential and commercial sites, diagnosing problems, completing quality installations, and maintaining systems so clients enjoy worry-free plumbing. Every visit ends with a clear explanation and a clean workspace.
What You’ll Do
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures for both residential and commercial customers.
- Diagnose issues quickly, troubleshoot effectively, and deliver durable solutions.
- Follow all local plumbing codes and regulations to ensure compliant work.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Communicate findings to clients, explain options, and provide repair estimates.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects smoothly.
- Keep tools, materials, and job sites organized and spotless.
- Stay current on industry trends and the latest plumbing technologies.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; a completed plumbing apprenticeship is preferred.
- Valid Virginia plumbing license.
- Proven, hands-on plumbing experience and strong system knowledge.
- Sharp problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working independently and as a collaborative teammate.
- Physical stamina with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
