About the Position

This Class B Driver position is located in N Chesterfld, Virginia, with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. You'll be home every night while hauling erosion control materials within the state of Virginia. This is a short-term need, but it could be extended based on business requirements. This is a TransForce driving opportunity, providing you with genuine support from our dedicated team.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM

Job Details

• Route Type: Local
• Freight: Erosion control materials
• Equipment: 28 ft flatbed and sit-down forklift
• Handling: Unloading materials and ensuring they are properly secured

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a 28 ft flatbed and operate a sit-down forklift.
• Deliver materials on time as scheduled by your supervisor.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Unload materials and ensure they are properly secured and within weight limits.
• Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day and assist in warehouse duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL B
• 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Must be 21 years or older
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift
