Job Description

• Process sample orders using Sample Logistics applications.
• Prepare sample orders for shipment and attach the appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Scan and package each sample order according to IATA and/or DOT regulations, complete the shipping process, and file all shipping documents.
• Assist with international shipments and communicate shipping details as needed.
• Conduct and reconcile physical sample inventories (current, bulk, and GLP) in Sample Logistics applications and prepare Excel inventory reports.
• Receive incoming packages for the Sample Logistics team and maintain accurate records for reference.
• Maintain the Certificate of Analysis archive for GLP samples.
• Assist in overseeing the restricted GLP storage area to ensure samples are maintained and secured in compliance with GLP regulations.
• Sub-fill sample containers in accordance with HSE, SDS, and site safety policies. Apply required research sample labels and stickers per process orders, scan samples into inventory, and complete the process order.
• Identify test substances that appear questionable and consult the Sample Logistics Manager as needed.
• Maintain SDS files for the Sample Logistics inventory, retrieving SDS from the Global QHSE database or supplier databases.
• Maintain bulk inventory by applying proper labels, scanning to the correct physical location, and storing containers on designated shelves.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies for the Sample Logistics team.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Sample Logistics team.
• Ensure compliance with all required IATA and DOT training.
• Report discrepancies with orders, system issues, or other sample-related concerns to the designated Sample Logistics representative.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices
• Experience with inventory control and maintenance
• Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety
• Ability to lift and handle items up to 50 lbs.
• Preference : Experience in logistics or sample distribution environments
• Demonstrates high integrity and reliability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and use sound judgment

Education/Training/Certifications

• Associate degree or equivalent, with 0–3 years of related experience
• Degree in a science-related field preferred

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Shift : 08 :00 AM

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $17.68 to $25.68 per hour based on qualifications.
