OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Nassawadox, VA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• Hazmat endorsement
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate as an OTR solo driver from Nassawadox, VA moving HAZMAT freight for HMD Trucking. The role offers predictable freight, modern equipment, and a company focus on driver safety and support.

Key duties:

• Safely haul hazardous materials on national OTR routes and comply with all applicable regulations.
• Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs.
• Work with dispatch to manage on-time performance and routing decisions.

Pay & equipment highlights:

• Mileage pay beginning at 65 CPM plus 4 CPM for HAZMAT, roughly 2,500 miles/week average, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses.
• Trucks under 3 years with APUs, inverters, sleepers and dependable in-house maintenance.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of driving experience.
